Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2025–26 Brochure Released in Kargil District

Kargil: In a significant step towards nurturing scientific curiosity and innovation among students, the official brochure of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2025–26 was ceremoniously released today in the Kargil District of Union Territory Ladakh during an inter school competition program at Govt. Middle School Chutuk.

The release was graced by the august presence of Smt. Tashi Dolma ji, Worthy Director School Education UT Ladakh; and Sh. Tsering Paldan, Worthy Director Tourism UT Ladakh; who jointly unveiled the brochure, marking a pivotal moment in student-centric scientific engagement.

Sh. Zakir Hussain, Hon’ble Executive Councillor for Education, LAHDC Kargil, also officially released the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2025–26 brochure in District Kargil. The event marked a significant step in promoting scientific awareness and engagement among students across the region.

The release ceremony highlighted the collaborative efforts to inspire young minds and strengthen science education in Kargil District of Ladakh.

The occasion was further dignified by the presence of Councilor Choskore Constituency, Sh. Nasir Hussain Munshi; Sh. Sonam Wangchuk, Chief Education Officer Kargil; Sh. S.D. Namgyal, Principal DIET Kargil; Sh. Tsering Wangdus, Deputy Chief Education Officer Sankoo; Mrs. Nargis Banoo, Zonal Education Officer Kargil; Principal of Government HSS Choskore; Principal of PM SHRI Government HSS Minji; Sh. Ahmad Ali, VVM State Coordinator; and Sh. Mohd Hussain, VVM Outreach and State Coordinator, and Sh. Ghulam Nabi, Headmaster of Government Middle School Chutuk.

Headmasters and educators from various schools of Choskore and Minji were also in attendance, reflecting the strong community support and enthusiasm for the VVM initiative.

The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan program, a national movement to popularize science and cultivate analytical thinking among students, is poised to inspire young minds throughout Ladakh. The release of the 2025–26 brochure sets the stage for vibrant participation and meaningful exploration in the current academic year.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a shared pledge to continue empowering students through knowledge, inquiry, and innovation.
