Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, twenty-one new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 314 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 188 sample reports in Leh and 105 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that twenty-three patients were cured and 21 were received by CMO Leh and 2 was received by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 150, out of which 141 active cases are in Leh district and 9 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1701 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 458 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 260 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
