KHALTSE: Three-Day Youth Entrepreneurship Awareness Program, organised by Enterprising Ladakh began today at Government Degree College, Khaltse. The aim of the workshop is to promote entrepreneurship as a sustainable career option for the region’s youth and encourages youth to integrate innovation with traditional knowledge.
Assistant Professor Stanzin Stamdin, the college’s Nodal Officer for Enterprising Ladakh, delivered the welcome address, followed by a formal welcome from Principal Dr. Samina Iqbal to the Enterprising Ladakh representatives.
The program includes participants from local women self-help groups in Khaltse and college students. Ms. Fariha from Enterprising Ladakh presented an overview of the platform, which supports entrepreneurs with project planning (DPRS), branding, packaging, and marketing, focusing on agriculture, handicrafts, and tourism.
