Leh: Social and Tribal Welfare Department, Leh accorded a warm farewell to the outgoing Director, Tashi Dolma (JKAS) during an event organised at Garskit Inn, Spituk. On this occasion, the new Director, Kunzes Dolma (JKAS) was also warmly welcomed.
A large number of staff from District Programme Officer ICDS Projects, District Social Welfare Office, District Child Protection Unit, Child Welfare Committee, Child Care Institutions, Mission Shakti, Mission Poshan, Mission Vatsalya, Women Helpline, Hub for Empowerment of Women attended the gathering.
In her address, Ms. Zarina Bano, CDPO Nyoma, highlighted the remarkable contributions of Ms. Tashi Dolma during her tenure as Director, S&TW. She reiterated her proactive initiatives regarding DPC, Saksham AWCs and the scale of growth the department has seen under her vision and guidance.
Former Director, Ms. Tashi Dolma praised the hardwork and dedication of the department and expressed her deepest satisfaction for being able to work for the welfare of the different sections of the society in an integrated and holistic manner. She urged the department to extend their support and cooperation to the new Director as well for achieving greater success.
