PM Modi virtually inaugurates FM Transmitter at Khaltse

Leh: The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated 100-Watt Capacity FM Transmitter Khaltse in the august presence of Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting/ Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur and Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting/ Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Dr. L. Murugan.

On the occasion of virtual inauguration ceremony, Councillor Khaltse, Lobzang Sherab was present as the chief guest whereas Councillor Lamayuru, Dr. Murup Dorjay and Sub Divisional Magistrate Khaltse, Suhail Ahmad were present as guest of honour.

LBA President Sham; SHO Khaltse; Principal Govt. Degree College Khaltse; Principal, Moravian Mission School, Khaltse; Sarpanch Khaltse; Numbarder Khaltse; Ama Tsogspa, President Khaltse also graced the occasion.

All HODs and staff of subdivision Khaltse; Head of Program, Executive AIR Kargil

 and staff of AIR transmitter Khaltse; villagers of Khaltse village and school students were present during the event.

Councillor Khaltse and Councillor Lamayuru spoke about the importance and role of radio programmes and news in our daily life.

SDM Khaltse, LBA President Sham, BMO Khaltse, Ama Tsogspa President and Program Executive AIR also spoke on the occasion.
