PM Modi e-inaugurates 100 Watt AIR FM transmitters at Khaltse, Nyoma, Diskit

LEH/ New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi e-inaugurated 100 Watt AIR FM transmitters at Khaltse, Nyoma and Diskit subdivisions of UT Ladakh along with 18 other States and 1 UT.

Union Minister, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India Anurag Thakur joined the event from Leh in the presence of Lieutenant Governor Ladakh.

PM Narendra Modi spoke of the crucial role of Aakashvani in timely dispersement of community-relevant news, information on government schemes, weather updates, etc and highlighted the major objective of radio in connecting the entire nation.

PM Narendra Modi will address the nation on 30th April, marking the 100th episode of his radio program Mann Ki Baat.
