National Integration Tour students share experiences with CEC Gyalson

LEH: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson interacted with the students from Hanu Aryan Valley who went on a 18 day National Integration Tour under OP Sadbhavna, organised by the Artillery Regiment of Indian Army located in Hanu.

A total of 25 students along with two escort teachers visited important places of historical and educational significance in Srinagar, Jammu, Dehradun, Mussoorie and Delhi.

The students also had an opportunity to interact with the President of India in New Delhi during the educational cum exposure tour.

CEC Gyalson extended gratitude to the Indian Army for enabling and organising such important educational tours for the underprivileged students from far-flung areas. He lauded the symbiotic relationship, which existed in the past as well, between the civilians and the Army in Ladakh, especially in the border areas.

Praising the commendable initiatives of the Indian Army, CEC Gyalson expressed hope that Indian Army would continue its welfare works in border villages in the coming times too. He also urged the students to feel proud of their unique cultural identity and to preserve them.

The students also shared their experiences and knowledge gained during the tour.
Skurbuchan Councillor, Lundup Dorjai; Sarpanch Hanu village; Army officers from Artillery Regiment, Hanu; students and teachers were present during the interaction ceremony.
