MP JTN visits Tibetan settlement in Choglamsar, Agling
Leh: Jamyang Tsering Namgyal Member of Parliament visited at Tibetan settlement in Choglamsar and Agling area of Leh district along with BDC Chairman Dr Skalzang Dorjey, CRO Secretary Smt Sonam Choudon, Local Tibetan Assembly President Lhundup Tsering and other respectives Goba.
The visit started from the Chief Representative Office, TCV SOS School, Ruduk Lhundup Choding Monastery, Bon Gonpa, Skarma Monastery and SONAMLING Tibetan settlement from Camp 1 to Camp 12.
During the visited various issues has been tabled to the MP Ladakh from Mapping of Tibetan settlement, Link road renovation, medical centres for Camps located at different sectors in Ladakh and heating system for the whole Office at CEO office, School issues regarding establishment of Angadwadi at various locations, SOS TCV DPR for construction.
In Bon Gonpa grivencies particularly in the for Gonpa like Kitchen, Library, Community Hall were addressed.
In Skarma Monastery, grivencies regarding Monastery premises building renovation, issues with nomenclature matter, street light, heating system, and other basic issues.
In visiting Camps from Tibetan settlement from Camp 1st to 12th: Respectives Gobas and representatives addressed their issues pertaining to the development of settlement like obtaining legal document of the residential area of TR Settlement, Implementation of Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy-2014.
Sanction of funds to set up of new Basketball Court near the Communities Halls at various locations to avoid youngsters’ engagement in drugs and alcoholic activities, blacktop motor vehicle road within the camp areas, provision of garbage dumping site, Installation of solar street light within the camp area, set up soak pit to avoid freezing on the surface during,, Septic tank, street light, out door Gymnasium, employment for youth, tuition Centre, bathroom Sets, Community Land for multipurpose uses to financial support, JJM connection, water lifting pump, street light, and Community Hall reconstruction etc, Childern Park and other basic issues have shared their grivencies. motorable bridge, vehicle for trash carrier, realignment and removal of electricity poles, water for irrigations wooden panelling, sewage connection, etc
The tour was accompanied by various Governmental officials such as Executive Engineers from ACD Leh, PHE, PDD PWD and R&B, AD food and Supply, Social Welfare Department, Tehsildar Leh, BDO Leh, Revenue Department, AD informations, and other concerns officials.
