Leh: Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal met with S. Kishor (IAS) Chairman SSC in CGO Complex New Delhi and requested to provide a correction window for the rejected aspirants and option to change the examination centers.
Ladakh MP JTN stressed the Chairman Service Selection Commission to reconsider the decision of rejections on minimal grounds like blurred photos and signatures, photos with spectacles and other minor reasons and requested to provide a last chance to the rejected candidates by opening of SSC portal for a very short duration with correction option so that maximum candidates can be accommodated in the forthcoming SSC exam for the posts of Union Territory of Ladakh to be held from 1st August to 5th August 2022.
Ladakh MP also requested to provide a window to change the Exam Centre from Jammu to Leh or Kargil for the candidates who are unable to travel due to various unavoidable circumstances.
During the meeting Ladakh MP explained all the issues in detail and the Chairman SSC, after hearing all the issues, assured MP Ladakh that all the matter will be examined and will try to provide all necessary assistance to the aspirants.
The Chairman SSC also explained the technicalities of the whole computerized systems of SSC and further said that the SSC norms has to be maintained strictly, thus SSC can’t alter the aspirants list especially after notifying the exam dates and examination centers.
