
LRLM, SERP Telangana hold start up meeting
LEH: As per the Memorandum of Understanding MOU signed between Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission (LRLM) and Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Telangana, 30 Resource Person consisting of 10 Professional Resource Person, 20 Senior Community Resource Person (Sr. CRP) headed by Project Executive, Karunakar reached UT Ladakh on May 23rd 2023.
A start up meeting was organised Thursday headed by Commissioner Secretary, Rural Development Department, Saugat Biswas with the NRO team.
During the meeting, LRLM and NRO team shared the future course of action in organising a massive social mobilization campaign in 10 intensive blocks of the UT Ladakh.
Commissioner Secretary, RDD, Saugat Biswas welcomed the NRO team and congratulated the LRLM for the progress made so far. He also directed the LRLM team for assisting the smooth functioning of the campaign in the targeted blocks.
State Mission Director, Tahir Hussain directed the teams to work in collaboration with Panchayati Raj Institutions and other line departments at block level.
Five teams each with 01 PRP, 2 Sr.CRP and LRLM staff will be deployed in five blocks in both the districts starting from May 27th 2023.
Commissioner Secretary, RDD, Suagat Biswas; State Mission Director, LRLM; Assistant Commissioner Development, Leh and Kargil; District Panchayat Officer; Project Executive, SERP along with 30 resource persons, State Programme Manager, LRLM, District Programme Manager Leh/ Kargil and Block Programme Managers of Leh and Kargil were present during the meeting.
