
LG reviews arrangement for 2-day visit of President Murmu to Ladakh
Leh: The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), reviewed the arrangements for the two-day visit of the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, to Ladakh.
The President is scheduled to take part in the celebrations of 5th Foundation Day of UT Ladakh on October 31.
The LG visited the Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra, Leh, where he inspected the arrangements made for the celebration of the 5th Foundation Day of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
The LG reviewed the arrangements being made for the celebration of the UT Foundation Day at SSK.
The LG also visited the Sindhu Ghat where he inspected the ongoing arrangements made for the event for the President of India to be held on November 1.
The LG also inspected the helipad at Sindhu Ghat and visited the Hotel Grand Dragon where he reviewed the necessary arrangements being made for the event where the Hon’ble President would be the Chief Guest.
The concerned Venue Commanders apprised the HLG of the preparations and minute to minute of the events to ensure smooth conduct of the functions.
