LG, MP, CEC attend birthday celebrations of HH Gyalwang Drukpa, HE Drukpa Thuksey Rinpoche

Leh: Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson accompanied by Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; Executive Councillors and Councillors attended the birthday celebration of H.H Gyalwang Drukpa and H.E Drukpa Thuksey Rinpoche at Shey Naro Photang Wednesday.

LG Ladakh, Brig. (Dr) B.D Mishra (Retd) was the chief guest whereas CEC Tashi Gyalson and MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal were the guests of honor. Besides, various dignitaries including H.E Choekyong Palga Rinpoche, H.E Khamtak Rinpoches, PCCF Ladakh, Jigmet Takpa, DC Leh Shrikant Suse, SP Leh PD Nidtya, Ven monks and nuns, head of socio-religious organisations, Administrative officers, Army officers, and a large number of devotees attended the grand birthday celebration Wednesday.  

CEC Gyalson extended his greetings to both the Rinpoches and further lauded their innumerable contribution towards the welfare of all the sentient beings.

He added that Ladakhis are blessed to have the blessings of H.H Gyalwang Drukpa and H.E Thuksey Rinpoche in all the socio-religious activities to date. 

Through the teachings and guidance of both the rinpoches, Ladakh has seen major transformations in various sectors including mega afforestation initiatives, the establishment of a much-needed animal rescue center, and international standard educational institutes added CEC Gyalson. 

He assured continuous support and collaborations from the Hill Council, Leh towards social welfare initiatives in the future as well.
