Upon reaching this morning, he called on the Lt. Governor Minister of Defence, GoI Rajnath Singh and discuss various issues pertaining to the UT.

He also met the minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, Nitin Gadkari to discuss progress of various projects involving construction of road/tunnels/bridges across the UT were discussed during the meeting; possible new projects, including funicular & tunnels.

During the course of the meeting, LG Mathur also apprised the Minister of the initiatives taken in terms of incorporating Hydrogen & e-vehicles in the UT as part of the carbon neutral vision.
