Leh: After a video and a photo clip made rounds at social media platforms wherein it was seen that one official of Traffic Unit Kargil was riding the official motorcycle without a helmet, and the pillion rider was also found without helmet.
Taking strict action on the indiscipline and violation of Motor Vehicle’s Act in this regard the violator was got hold of and immediately Challaned for violating the Motor Vehicle Act, and a fine of Rs. 2000/- was imposed and recovered from him .
The official was also served with a ‘Warning Letter ‘ from higher formations to remain careful in future . Law is equal for all and no one will be spared found violating the same.
