Leh: Lamdon School, Leh organised ‘Lamdon Inter School Volley Ball Tournament’ under the theme “let’s move forward together.” Dy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. Councillor Upper Leh, CEO Leh, DYSSO Leh and various other guests were present during the occasion.
In his address, Dy Chairman Angchuk stated, “we are trying our best to bridge the gap between government and private schools of Leh. I appeal to all the private schools to participate in the government’s run competitions. We look forward to organise such tournaments in the coming days so that students can get adequate platform to showcase their talents.”
“This tournament served as a schools unifier. The participating schools displayed an excellent team work, discipline, respect for rules, coordination, communication, and gracefully accepted winning and losing the games. Spending time with friends from other schools also makes students feel valued and loved, which translates into happiness, ” stated Principal Lamdon School.

As informed, around 10 schools participated in the tournament. Islamia Public School won the winner trophy whereas Mahabodhi Senior Secondary School won the runner up trophy.
