Ladakh’s local filmmakers to have their stories on Netflix

LEH: A meeting was organized by Information Department Ladakh with Netflix to explore opportunities for local filmmakers to have their stories on Netflix.

Commissioner Secretary Padma Angmo said there are many stories from Ladakh that can be showcased on the streaming channel which can have universal appeal.

Ambika Khurana Director Policy, Netflix said Netflix & DIPR can explore collaboration for capacity building of local talent and said facilitation for Filmmakers to shoot in Ladakh will help in promoting Ladakh as a filming destination.
