Tangtse: Government Higher Secondary School Tangtse hosted its first-ever Food Festival Tuesday, showcasing the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Ladakh.
The vibrant event brought together students, staff, and community members in a spirited celebration of traditional Ladakhi cuisine, with dishes representing all regions of Lalok.
The festival was graced by the presence of Konchok Stanzin, Councillor of Chushul Constituency, who attended as the Chief Guest.
Also present were esteemed dignitaries including Dorjey Stanzin, BEC, and Ven. Konchok Gyaltson, Headmaster of Middle School. Their presence and words of encouragement greatly enriched the occasion and inspired the students.
Under the dynamic leadership of Principal Zaibun Nissa, and with the wholehearted efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff, the event was a resounding success.
The school premises came alive with colorful food stalls, lively interaction, and a sense of pride in local traditions.
