Ladakh Police holds first ever Inter-wing Archery Tournament

Leh: Continuing its endeavour to promote fitness and sports, the 1st ever inter-wing Ladakh Police Archery Tournament was organised at District Police Lines, Choglamsar Leh.

Archers from different wings of Ladakh Police participated and winners were felicitated by SS Khandare-IPS, ADGP, Head of Police, Ladakh along with PD Nitya-IPS, SSP Leh during the event.

Many Ladakh Police Officers along with large number of Police personnel from various wings of Ladakh Police were present during the event to encourage and cheer the participants.

In 50 Meters (Men’s Category), ASI Namgyal Dorjay was declared the winner followed by SgCt Manzoor Hussain and SgCt Nissar Hussain who were the runner up and second runner up.

Similarly in 30 Meters (Women’s Category) Ct Rigzin Yangdol won the first place followed by SgCt Tsering Dolkar who took the runner up position.
