
Ladakh Police bans use of Siren, multi toned horn by VIPs’ vehicles
Leh: Ladakh Police Wednesday banned the use of Siren, multi toned horn by the Motorcade, Escort vehicles of VIPs in U.T Ladakh.
Necessary departmental and penal action should be taken against any defaulters.
Sirens allowed only in case of extreme emergencies and movements of President of India, Vice President of India, Prime Minister of India and Home Minister of India.
ADGP Ladakh said in a Tweet, “Ladakh Police bans the use of Siren/ multi toned horn by the Motorcade/Escort vehicles of VIPs in U.T Ladakh. Necessary departmental & penal action should be taken against any defaulters.”
ADGP Ladakh further said, “Sirens allowed only in case of extreme emergencies and movements of Hon’ble President of India, Hon’ble Vice President of India, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India & Hon’ble Home Minister of India.”
