Ladakh offers heartfelt farewell to HH 14th Dalai Lama

LEH: Chairman/CEC, Tashi Gyalson in presence of HE Thiksay Rinpoche; MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal; Presidents of Ladakh Buddhist Association and Ladakh Gompa Association and other dignitaries offered heartfelt farewell to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and escorted His Holiness to KBR Airport, Leh for departure.

After, more than a month long stay in Leh Ladakh, His Holiness departed to New Delhi. CEC Gyalson expressed his gratitude and warm regards to His Holiness for blessing the people of Ladakh.

A stream of people queued along roadsides en route to KBR Airport from Photang Geyphel-ling, Jewetsal, Choglamsar offering their respects to HHDL with a hope in their hearts to see him next summer.
