Leh: With an aim to provide all the information students will need before they decide what course they wish to learn in the college, Ladakh administration is organising an Education Fair for those registered for Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme in the union territory of Ladakh.

The two days long Education Fair will be organised on 19th and 20th of August in five different colleges of Ladakh. These college are EJM Leh, GDC Kargil, GDC Nubra, GDC Zanskar and GDC Drass.
The fair is being organised in collaboration with Ladakh Skill Development Mission, Higher Education Department and University of Ladakh.

Sessions on pre-matric and post-matric of career guidance, subject choice, free psychometric test, Skilling, Apprenticeship options by experts will take place during the fair from 11 in the morning till 5 pm.
PMSSS is a financial assistance scheme for J&K students to pursue undergraduate studies outside the UT implemented by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), MHRD New Delhi through Higher Education Department of J&K as nodal agency. The scholarship is provided to the eligible students for the course under three heads including General, Professional and Medical Courses with a total of 5000 scholarships every year in the institutions outside J&K.
