JTN lists public grievances in Leh areas, directs officials for immediate action

Leh: Member of Parliament, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, visited Kharyok, Manekhang, and Skara areas of Leh and listed public grievances Monday.

The visit was made on the request of the public to address the major issues faced by the residents.

The residents of the Kharyok area, which falls under the Heritage Zone, have been facing major inconveniences due to the lack of basic facilities such as proper drinking water, side sewerage, drainage, footpaths, and roads.

Similarly, the residents of Skara have been facing issues with the road and blacktopping.
MP JTN took the time to listen to the grievances of the residents regarding the developmental issues, both major and minor, and also visited the neglected areas of Leh town.

After assessing the situation, MP JTN directed the concerned officials to take immediate action and also scheduled a meeting with them to further discuss all the developmental work required for Leh areas.

The residents expressed their sincere gratitude to MP JTN and the team for taking their issues seriously, which were neglected by the elected representatives of these constituencies until today.

Meanwhile, the MP also visited Kharyok in Leh town to address public grievances like drinking water, sewerage, drainage, footpaths and roads etc. and requested officials to take immediate action.

The tour was accompanied by EC Gulham Mehdi, Block Development Chairman, Dr Skalzang Dorjey, In-charge of BJP MC Leh PT Kunzang, Thinless Chosdup BJYM State General Secretary, BJP Mandal Presidents of Upper Leh Sonam Rigzin Chubi and Lower Leh Tsering Tashi Manatseling, and party workers.
