Drass: Indian Army under the aegis of Operation Sadbhavana, successfully conducted a free medical camp at Moradbagh village of Mushkoh Valley, with a special focus on women’s health and well-being.
The camp aimed at strengthening community healthcare and promoting preventive health awareness, particularly among women and children. A total of 147 patients availed the services, including 122 women, 13 men, and 12 children.And students of degree college drass also screened.
The facilities provided during the camp included screening for Diabetes and HTN, Distribution of essential medicines.
In addition to medical care, awareness lectures were conducted to sensitize the community about preventive healthcare practices, maternal and child health, and the importance of regular check-ups.
Speaking on the occasion, members of Drass Healers highlighted that “Swastha Nari is the foundation of Sashakt Parivar”, underlining the vision of building healthier families and empowered communities.
The initiative was warmly welcomed by the local residents, especially women, who appreciated the team’s efforts to reach out to remote areas with quality healthcare support.
