Imteeaz Kacho takes assessment of election preparedness at Shakar Chiktan, Shargole

Kargil: Joint Director, Information, Ladakh, Imteeaz Kacho who is an Observer for the General Elections of LAHDC-Kargil visited Polling Stations at various locations in Shakar Chiktan Sub-Division and Shargole Block on the other day.

During his inspection of Polling Stations in Chiktan, he was accompanied by Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Shakar Chiktan, Abdul Gaffar Zargar.

In order to check preparedness for the forthcoming elections, Kacho visited and inspected the polling stations at Middle School,Sanjaq; the High School at Hagnis; Higher Secondary School, Chiktan; Government Middle School,Zgang and High School,Wakha.

He gave instructions to the school authorities to ensure hassle-free water supply and electricity connectivity as well as proper accommodation and meals for the polling parties.

Further, he inspected the school premises to see if they are disabled-friendly and the ramps are smooth.
