HH inaugurates Great Prayer Wheel, ‘Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Khorchen Khorwe Go Gek’
Leh: The Great Prayer Wheel, “Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Khorchen Khorwe Go Gek” was inaugurated Saturday at Samten Hills, Dalat, Vietnam by His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche in the presence of H.E Drubwang Sonam Jorfel Rinpoche.
It has been officially recognised and listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as being the World’s largest prayer wheel.
Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson attended the event along with Indian High Commission/Ambassador to Vietnam, Sandeep Arya; VP Dalat, Lam Dong Province Vietnam; Member Parliament Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal; Member NCM GoI, Rinchen Lhamo; President LBA, Thupstan Chhewang, and various other delegates/guests from India and Vietnam attended the opening ceremony.
The prayer wheel was inaugurated and consecrated by H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, H.E. Drubwang Sonam Jorfel Rinpoche, in presence of other Venerable Rinpoches and Venerable monks, and Nuns.
Later, the CEC, MP Ladakh, Member NCM GoI, and all the other guests participated in a plantation drive through the mission of Go Green Go Organic under the guidance of H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche.
