Gyalson reviews plans for Zonal Youth Festival, Sports Meet at Khaltse
Leh: Chairman/CEC, Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting yesterday at the sub-divisional headquarters in Khaltse to discuss and review the preparations for the upcoming Zonal Youth Festival and Sports Meet to be organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, LAHDC Leh.
Councillor Khaltse, Lobzang Sherab, Departmental Heads of Khaltse sub-division led by I/c SDM, Tanveer Ahmed; Principal GDC Khaltse, ZEO Khaltse, SHO PS Khaltse, Principal GHSS Khaltse, and various other concerned officers and officials were present during the meeting.
A comprehensive discussion was held during the meeting regarding the essential logistical arrangements required for the successful execution of the zonal-level sports meet.
CEC Gyalson emphasised the importance of adequate infrastructure and timely preparations. He directed SDM Khaltse to personally inspect all the designated sites along with the concerned officers and ensure that necessary arrangements are in place.
He added that this youth festival cum sports meet should be aimed to provide a good platform for the youth of Khaltse sub-division to exhibit their abilities, talents, and skills.
