Leh: Chairman, CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson, along with Executive Councillors Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Ghulam Mehdi, and Adv. Stanzin Chosphel, led a delegation of BJP Elected Councillors and met B.L. Santosh, BJP National General Secretary (Org), at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Friday.
The delegation held discussions on a range of key issues, including strengthening the party organisation in Ladakh, addressing concerns related to gazetted employment opportunities, and other region-specific matters.
Later, the delegation also met BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, where they discussed various aspects of Ladakh’s regional development and economic growth.
The delegation also extended a warm invitation to both B.L. Santosh and Tarun Chugh to visit Ladakh for the upcoming unveiling ceremony of the statue of the 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche.
Additionally, they extended warm gratitude to both the leaders for their continued support to the Union Territory of Ladakh and apprised them of the developmental activities carried out over the past five years.
Councillors who were present during the meeting are Lobzang Sherab, Tsering Sangdup, Karma Namdak, Sonam Norboo, Stanzin Chosphel, Eshey Spalzang, Mirza Hussain, Dr. Morup Dorjey, and Thinles Norboo.
