Leh: In connection with special summary revision of electoral rolls, the district administration on Wednesday has appointed Tajamul Ara as district SVEEP-Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs) Nodal officer.
As per the order issued by Deputy Commissioner Leh, Shrikant Balasahed Suse, sanction is accorded to appointment of Deputy Director, NYK, Leh, Tajamul Ara a District SVEEP-ELCs Nodal Officer in connection with the Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls w.r.t 1 Jan 2023 as the qualifying date and other activates under Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs) with immediate effect
“The officer so designated as Nodal Officer, shall now be deemed to be on deputation to the ECI under sec 13CC of RP Act till further order,” the order reads.
The order further reads that the officer will ensure activation of the ELCs already framed in every schools of the district to provide awareness about the SSR related activities among general public under an intimation to this office with immediate effect.
