EC Tashi lays foundation stone of multi-gathering center in Zanskar

KARGIL: Executive Councilor RD, Tourism and Zanskar Affairs, LAHDC, Kargil Er. Phunchok Tashi laid the foundation stone of a multi-purpose Community Hall at Tsazar and Tungri village of Zanskar the previous day.

BDC Zanskar, incharge SDM Zanskar, incharge BDO, officials of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (RD&PRD), village members, Panch, Ama Tsogpa and villagers were present during the function.

While addressing the gathering, the EC congratulated the general public of Tsazar and informed about the sanctioned fund in Tsazer village for works like irrigation canal, protection bund, electricity etc. He instructed the RD&PRD authorities and contractor to timely complete the project.

On behalf of the people of village Panch Tsazar thanked EC Tashi for funding of the Community Hall and many other projects. The EC also inspected the work of under construction irrigation canal at Tsazar.

At Tungri village, Councilor Karsha, Stanzin Jigmath, Sarpanch Tungri, Nambardar Tungri, Incharge Exen PWD, AEE and the people of Tungri were present during the foundation stone laying function.

The Councilor Karsha, Stanzin Jigmath congratulated the people of Tungri and thanked the Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan and EC Tashi for sanctioning the fund for the multi-gathering center.

The EC also appreciated the representatives and people of village for their coordination and assured that the construction of multi gathering hall will be completed in coming months.

Nambardar and Sarpanch of Tungri expressed their gratitude to EC and Councilor for funding of 1.50 cr under District Capex for the construction of the hall.
