Leh: The dry fruit sellers of Union Territory of has requested to Lieutenant Governor, R K Mathur to provide them a suitable space for selling products.
As per the official, a delegation comprising several members including dry fruit sellers has called on LG Mathur and apprised him about the problems being faced by sellers.
The delegation requested to provide space to sell dry apricot, walnuts, cashew, etc.
They informed that they are dependent on selling dry fruits for their livelihood and have availed loans from banks to purchase dry fruits.
LG Mathur gave patience hearing to the delegation and assured to concede genuine demands.
