Leh, September 19:
A delegation from Junu Tsogpa, led by Tundu Dorjey, called on the Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, today. The delegation extended their heartfelt congratulations to the Hon’ble CEC on the inauguration of the new Council Secretariat building.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed in detail the future course of planning for the youth of Wanla, including initiatives to create better opportunities and avenues for their overall development.
They also proposed the organization of a cricket tournament in memory of Padma Shri late Sonam Skalzang and suggested naming a school in his honour, highlighting his contribution as an inspiration for the younger generation.
The Hon’ble CEC assured the delegation of his support towards their initiatives and appreciated their efforts for youth welfare.
