The Certification Course in Entrepreneurship under the flagship initiative Enterprising Ladakh was inaugurated today at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Leh by Mr. Tsering Angchuk, Deputy CEC, LAHDC Leh.
Enterprising Ladakh is an initiative of Department of Higher Education UT Administration of Ladakh which is being Implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad.
This 20-day program will train 200 students in innovation, business idea generation, branding, marketing, and the usage of AI in entrepreneurship.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy CEC stressed the need to equip Ladakhi youth with entrepreneurial skills to drive job creation and sustainable development.
Principal of JNV Leh, Mr. Yogendra Singh, welcomed the initiative, noting that early exposure to entrepreneurship will broaden students’ horizons and prepare them to meet future challenges with creativity and confidence.
The program is a significant step towards integrating entrepreneurship into school education and building a vibrant startup ecosystem in LADAKH. Dr. Diwakar Singh from EDII taken session on basis of #Entrepreneurship and encouraged students to opt Entrepreneurship as 1st choice of career.
Mr. Rigzin Wangdus of Enterprising Ladakh coordinated the session.
Over 70 students attended the session.
