CEC Tashi Gyalson visits Lingshed village to oversee preparations for Yarchos Chenmo
Leh: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson along with President LBA, Thupstan Chhewang and President LGA, Ven. Stanzin Wangtak visited Lingshed village today to oversee the progress of preparations for the upcoming Yarchos Chenmo which would commence in first week of August this year.
The delegates expressed satisfaction over the progress and also assured to put it before the Program Coordinator of His Holiness for further necessary action. They also interacted with head lama of Lingshed gonpa, Venerable monks, Sarpanch, Nambardar, and expressed hope of the visit of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s visit to Lingshed for this year’s Yarchos Chenmo.
Upon reaching back to Leh, they also visited Jive- tsal photang to oversee the progress of Lift (Elevator) work at His Holiness’s residence.
