CEC selection for 5th LAHDC Kargil Body still undecided amidst speculations

KARGIL: In the midst of speculations and rumors regarding the selection of the Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) candidate for the 5th LAHDC body by the Congress-NC alliance, sources have clarified that no final decision has been made yet.

The parties are currently engaged in discussions, and a decision on the candidates for the Council Executive body is expected within the next two days.

However, it has been confirmed by the sources that the council will be officially formed on October 18.

There have been unverified reports circulating on social media suggesting that the National Congress has chosen Dr. Mohd Jaffar, while the Congress party has selected Nasir Hussain Munshi as their candidates for the upcoming CEC position in LAHDC Kargil.
