CEC reviews status of JJM in Leh district

Leh: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting to review the status and progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.

The concerned officials apprised CEC Tashi Gyalson of the status of the ongoing work under the JJM in all the sub-divisions of the district and the work completed so far.

New Industrial Policy to Turn Around Ladakh’s Economy: Director Industries Sheikh Nazir

CEC Tashi Gyalson stressed on early completion of pending work and directed the officials to resolve common issues at the ground level with the concerned public representatives. He impressed upon the concerned officials to ensure that the mandate of JJM, which aims to provide quality and safe drinking water to every household, is not compromised. He also instructed Third Party Inspecting Agency (TPIA) to ensure the quality of work being executed at ground level during the project.
