Leh, Sept 9:
Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson was called on by a delegation headed by CRO, Shri Tashi Dhondup, along with Secretary, Department of Religion and Culture, CTA Dharamsala, Shri Dhondul Dorjee, and Ven. Redo Sangay from Kirti Monastery, Dharamsala.
During the meeting, Shri Dhondul Dorjee presented the Hon’ble CEC with a copy of the resolutions passed during the 15th Tibetan Religious Conference held from July 2–4, 2025, at Dharamsala. He also presented a copy of the new book of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama titled Voice for the Voiceless.
The delegation further informed the Hon’ble CEC about the free distribution of textbooks for monasteries, covering classes from nursery to 6th standard. On the occasion, the delegation also presented a memento to the Hon’ble CEC in recognition of his continued support for the Tibetan community in Leh.
The Hon’ble CEC assured the delegation of all possible assistance required in the future.
