Leh, September 20:
Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) of LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, was called on by a delegation led by Lamayuru Councillor, Dr. Murup Dorje, accompanied by Goba, Dhomkhar Gongma Shri Lundup Gyalpo and other executive members of Gongma Tsogspa.
The delegation expressed their gratitude to Hon’ble CEC for the timely restoration of electricity and road connectivity in the region, noting the prompt response of the council to long-standing local needs. They also highlighted ongoing concerns, including the urgent requirement for the construction of the Domkhar Dambu bridge, which is essential to ease daily hardships faced by the villagers.
In addition, the delegation requested the installation of a separate BSNL 4G network tower at Domkhar Kuramrik, as residents currently face difficulties in accessing network connectivity from Domkhar Gongma, which hampers digital communication and access to essential services.
Hon’ble CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson assured the delegation that their concerns will be taken up on priority.
