Leh, September 20:
Hon’ble Chairman/CEC LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson was today called on by a delegation of the Non-Gazetted Electrical Employees Union of the Power Department, led by its President Shri Rinchen Nurbo and General Secretary Shri Sangay Dorje, along with other members.
The delegation apprised the Hon’ble CEC of the long-pending case concerning the regularisation of PDLs/TDLs, particularly those linked to age and qualification. They expressed concern that despite the transfer of related case files from the GAD J&K to GAD Leh, the process of regularisation has not been expedited, creating uncertainty among employees.
The union members further highlighted that many employees are nearing retirement and fear being deprived of the benefits of regularisation after serving for years. They therefore requested the Hon’ble CEC to intervene in the matter and ensure that the process is carried forward without further delay.
Hon’ble CEC assured the delegation that the matter would be examined at the earliest in consultation with the concerned authorities.
