Leh: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson today chaired a preparatory meeting regarding the upcoming Mega Eye Camp 2025 in his office chamber.
The Eye Camp will be organised by Phande Lekchin Welfare Trust, Leh, in collaboration with LAHDC Leh, and held in association with the renowned Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, Kathmandu, Nepal.
The officials had a discussion on arrangements for screening centres, mass public mobilisation, and tentative schedules for surgeries to be carried out at SNM Hospital by the visiting team of doctors. They will send two teams one to Zanskar and one to Changthang and after the screening will be done, it will be operated at the S&M Hospital.H’CEC Tashi Gyalson directed the Health Department officers, led by the Chief Medical Officer Leh, to extend full support and cooperation to ensure the successful conduct of the camp.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Leh, Sonam Nurboo; Chief Medical Officer, Leh, Dr. Dolma Chuskit; Deputy Medical Superintendent, SNM Hospital, Dr. Jigmet Wangchuk; Deputy Director, DMG, Shahid Salim; Ophthalmologist, Dr. Motup Angmo; and Ophthalmologist, Dr. Aasiya Noor and Members of Phande Lekchin Welfare Trust, Leh.
