New Delhi: India and China agreed on Friday to hold the next round of military-level talks at an early date to resolve the remaining issues in eastern Ladakh and create conditions for the restoration of normalcy in the bilateral ties, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said. Kargil: Deputy Commissioner, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today inspected various developmental works at Tourist Facilitation Center Biamathang, Kargil. Kargil: Deputy Commissioner, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today visited power grid station Kurbathang and inspected its work progress. He was accompanied by Exn Sub Transmission Division (STD) Wahaab Ali, AEE Awataart Sing and Project Manager Rajesh Gopal. Leh:  Secretary Power Development and New and Renewable Energy, UT Ladakh Ravinder Kumar attended the two-day conference of Ministers of Power & New and Renewable Energy of States and UTs at Udaipur, Rajasthan. The conference was graced by Honble Union Minister of Power Sh. R.K.Singh and Power Ministers of States. Leh: The Chairman, Adv. Tashi Gyalson had a meeting with H.E Khamtak Rinpoche Jigmet Nawang Namgyal today to discuss action plans for the upcoming mass plantation drive to be held in Lar-Dho, Liktsey village in April 2023. CEC Gyalson instructed departmental officers to ensure timely preparatory arrangements for the said plantation drive in Liktsey. New Delhi: The wholesale price-based inflation declined for the fourth consecutive month to 10.7 per cent in September on softening in prices of food, fuel and manufactured items. The Wholesale Price Index-based inflation was 12.41 per cent in August and 11.80 per cent in September last year. This year, the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) touched a record high of 15.88 per cent in May. September is the 18th consecutive month of double-digit WPI inflation.
