Leh: The 11th edition of the Sustainable Mountain Development Summit (SMDS) concluded today with a valedictory function at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra, Leh. Leh: The three days long Ladakh Drass Festival concludes successfully on Thursday. The closing ceremony was attended by CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan and many other dignitaries. Cultural artists from different parts of Ladakh including Zanskar, Drass, and different parts of Kargil and Leh district participated in the festival. Leh: The plain areas in district Leh of Union Territory of Ladakh on Thursday received season’s first snowfall. New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) improved its position in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 and was the only Indian university in the top 300 list, even as several IITs boycotted it for the third consecutive year raising doubts over its parameters and transparency. Kargil: Press Information Bureau (PIB), Jaipur team as part of a week-long press tour to UT Ladakh on Tuesday visited Drass valley to study various developmental works.
