Leh: The Union Territory of Ladakh in consultation with Army is likely to hold recruitment rally.
Sources informed Indus Dispatch, a meeting was held between senior Army officials and Ldakah administration to discuss modalities for the recruitment rally.
Confirming the reports, a official said that the Army officers led by Maj Gen S B Singh (Zonal Recruiting Officer, Jalandhar Zone) calls on CEC Tashi Gyalson today.
“They have discussed modalities to conduct smooth recruitment really in Ladakh,” he said.
It may be recalled, the recruitment drive for the post of constables in Ladakh Police have received 4,500 applicants participating from Leh.
Ladakh Police official informed that women participated on the first day of the recruitment drive and all-male applicants will apply for the post of constables in the next two days.
Stanzin Norboo, AIG said, “We received 4500 applications from Leh. On the first day, we called female applicants and in the next two days, we will call male applicants.”
