AGS Faroona conducts 15 Day National Integration tour; Students meet President Murmu
Kargil: 206 Sata Battery Unit under the banner of 8 Mountain DIV Khumbathang conducted National Integration Tour for the students of Army Goodwill School Faroona, Kargil.
A group of 25 students including with 2 Male teachers and 1 Female teachers and 3 Army Staff accompanied Army Major Himaliya for a national Integration Tour.
During the tour, these students are visits Srinagar Jammu, Chandigarh,Delhi and Agra.
The tour aims to broaden their horizons by showcasing various facets of India to gain first-hand experience of varied cultures, traditions, development, and technological & economic advancements across the Nation.
This will motivate them to achieve better jobs and careers through education and contribute towards nation-building.
The students of Army Goodwill School Faroona called with the president of India Droupadi Murmu during their National Integration Tour at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 14 November 2023.
During the interaction President of India Droupadi Murmu shared her thoughts and good wishes to the students on occasion of children’s day.
Archoo Hakima and Nissar Ali shared their experience and expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for conducts such national Integration Tour. All students participated with great amount to zeal and enthusiasm.
