Kargil, November 07, 2025: Joining the nationwide celebrations marking 150 years of India’s national song “Vande Mataram”, the Culture and Seminar Committee of Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil organized a grand mass singing event in the college premises today.
Three students led the rendition under the guidance of Dr. Kunzes Dolma (Assistant Professor, Biotechnology), as the entire campus resonated with the spirit of patriotism. Principal Disket Angmo, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and a large number of students participated with great enthusiasm.
Ms. Saba Shareef, Assistant Professor of Political Science, conducted the proceedings of the event on behalf of the organizing committee.
Earlier in the day, Principal Disket Angmo, along with college faculty and students, also joined the district-level mass singing of Vande Mataram at the Tourist Facilitation Centre (TFC) Kargil at 9:00 am, reaffirming collective pride in India’s national heritage.
