CEO, Leh Conducts Field Visit to Schools in Biama, Dha, and Hanu Yokma

Leh, Oct 24: The Chief Education Officer (CEO), Leh, Deldan Angmo, conducted an extensive field visit to Government Higher Secondary School Biama, Middle School Dha, and PM Shri High School Hanu Yokma on October 23, 2025.

The CEO’s visit to High School Biama coincided with a Cultural Exchange Programme being conducted between the students of High School Biama and High School Achinathang. Students from both schools shared best practices from their respective institutions and showcased their work before the CEO, Leh. During the programme, the CEO interacted with students and teachers from both schools, took note of their grievances and suggestions, and reviewed the work being carried out under the Samagra Shiksha and Special Development Package (SDP) schemes.

At Middle School Dha, the CEO, Leh, toured the campus and appreciated the school’s efforts in establishing a kitchen garden, where students and teachers collaboratively grow fresh fruits and vegetables. She also reviewed the school’s infrastructure facilities and other ongoing projects in the area.

Additionally, the CEO visited PM Shri High School Hanu Yokma, where she interacted with students and teachers regarding the school’s requirements. She also assessed the progress of infrastructure development on the school premises, as well as the academic performance of students across all visited schools, including syllabus completion and the maintenance of up-to-date notebooks.
