Kargil, October 11, 2025: The live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s launch of three landmark agricultural initiatives — the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, National Dalhan Mission, and National Mission on Natural Farming — was organised today in Kargil, drawing enthusiastic participation from local farmers and agriculture stakeholders.
The national event, held at the Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium, NASC Complex, Pusa, New Delhi, was screened live across multiple venues in Kargil district. Officers and officials from the Deputy Registrar Cooperatives Kargil, Deputy Audit Office Kargil, and Assistant Registrar Blocks joined the local viewing.
Simultaneous screenings were also organised at all Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS) and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samruddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) across the seven blocks of Kargil, enabling wide outreach among farmers and cooperative members.
The initiative underscored the government’s continued focus on promoting sustainable and inclusive agricultural growth in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
