Kargil, October 10, 2025: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Kargil successfully organized a district-level elementary quiz competition today, providing a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and skills.
Thirteen schools representing 39 students, who were zone-level position holders from 7 Zones of Kargil District, participated in the competition. The quiz comprised eight rounds, including General Knowledge, English Literacy, Numeracy, Environment, Ladakh Special, Visual, and Rapid Fire, conducted by esteemed DIET faculty members.
After a keenly contested competition, MS Titichimik secured first position, followed by MS Wakha in second position, and PS Gatoo Khaos in third position.
The program was graced by CEO Kargil Sonam Wangchuk, Principal DIET Kargil S.D Namgyal, and all ZEOs, who emphasized the importance of such events in fostering academic excellence in their concluding addresses. Position holders received certificates and momentos from the dignitaries.
The participation of guests, DIET Kargil faculties, teachers, and students added to the event’s success, highlighting the institution’s commitment to promoting quality education in the district. The program ended with a vote of thanks proposed by HOD Khursheeda Banoo, and the whole event was coordinated by DIET Kargil faculties led by Dr Willayat Ali.
