District Police Kargil, in collaboration with the District Hospital Kargil and the Ladakh Blood Donors Group, organized a blood donation camp at the District Police Lines, Kargil.
District Police Kargil, in collaboration with the District Hospital Kargil and the Ladakh Blood Donors Group, organized a blood donation camp at the District Police Lines, Kargil.Senior Superintendent of Police, Kargil, Shree Ram R, Additional Superintendent of Police Nitin Yadav, SP CRPF, and several personnel from Ladakh Police and CRPF voluntarily donated blood during the camp.
Speaking to the media, SSP Kargil Shree Ram R said that this is the second consecutive year that District Police Kargil has organized a blood donation camp with the motive to inculcate the practice of blood donation, which he termed as a noble and lifesaving cause. He added that it is important to keep police personnel disciplined and involved in such activities, as the presence of a large force offers the opportunity to have rare blood groups available in times of need.
He appreciated the efforts of Nasir Hussain Zaidi, Chief Organizer of the Ladakh Blood Donors Group, for organizing the camp, and also thanked the doctors and team from District Hospital Kargil for their active support.
The SSP further appreciated the police personnel and officers for coming forward to support such a humanitarian cause and urged the general public to make blood donation a regular practice.
