
98% Aadhaar seeding complete in Leh; Officers directed to document all issues in writing
Director Tahir Hussain chairs introductory meeting
LEH: Director of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Customer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department, Tahir Hussain, chaired an introductory meeting with department officials at Agling Saturday, addressing various critical issues and initiatives.
Among the topics discussed during the meeting were the status of e-KYC for beneficiaries, the progress of deleting intra and inter-duplication ration cards, Aadhaar-authenticated distribution updates, the capping of the Ration Card Monitoring System, Aadhaar seeding status, market checks, and updates on a new version.
In regard to e-KYC, Director, Tahir Hussain directed the Tehsil Supply Officers to ensure its completion, aiming for a 100 percent success rate. He also instructed them to promptly submit the monthly physical and financial progress reports to the Director’s Office.
Director, FCS&CA informed the meeting that Aadhaar seeding had reached a completion rate of 98%. He further directed all Tehsil Supply Officers to document all issues in writing, rather than relying on verbal communication.
Additionally, Tehsil Supply Officers were instructed to maintain vigilance over the stocking of ration, and this information should be accurately reflected both online and in the godown or store records.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Director, FCS&CA Department, Ruth Mary, along with all the Tehsil Supply Officers and the Ration Card Management System team, focusing on improving the efficiency and transparency of the department’s operations.
