3rd phase of disaster management training concludes in Nubra

LEH: The 3rd phase of disaster management training, organised by District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Leh in collaboration with Union Territory Disaster Response Force (UTDRF) and Aapda Mitra volunteers, at 20 Halqa Panchayats of Nubra sub division concluded successfully Sunday.

In these disaster management training the resource persons disseminated awareness and information about risk reduction measures and early response and safety mechanism and procedures in the wake of any unfortunate incident.

SDM; Tehsildar; BDO; BDC; elected PRI members, including Sarpanches, Panches; Women Associations and school students in different Halqa Panchayats of Nubra participated in these training.

The 4th phase of the training is scheduled to commence from May 4th 2023 onwards in Durbuk and Nyoma sub divisions.
